WESTMORELAND TECHNICAL SERVICES (WTS)

Located in Weldon, North Carolina, WTS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Westmoreland Energy, LLC. WTS provides competitively priced specialized and general contracting services and emergency services ranging from fuel handling to electrical and mechanical work. It also provides certified welding services to power plant and industrial facilities. WTS has competitively bid and performed services for Westmoreland Energy, LLC's Roanoke Valley Units I and II, power facilities owned by Dominion Virginia Power and Coastal Lumber facilities in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. WTS performs pressure vessel welding and other work requiring an ASME R or S stamp certification, and has extensive experience in performing baghouse maintenance and maintenance and repair of coal crushers and mills. Having its own specialized maintenance staff gives Westmoreland and other WTS customers assurance of quality, timeliness and 24 hour / 7day availability of service.
